Question Dry question for a friend

Can the 28.8 lbs injectors sustain a 150 dry shot on a 320rwhp 02 Z28 and stock tune???

I do it with my 01 but mine is H/C, 30lbs injectors, WOT retard 26*, MSD booster pump 402hp/384tq N/A

I don't want to misleed him.
All comments appreciated.

I think 150 is really pushing it.

ya really shouldnt go over 100 dry on a stock tuned motor. w/tuning, good fuel, and decent plugs, you can push it. you want reliability? stay at 100.

One way you can get away with a larger dry shot on a stock fuel system and still maintain a cushion is to short shift the car. I shift at 5700 RPM on my car. the lower RPM has a lower demand on the fuel system and my car makes all its power at the lower RPM on my stock motored car. While i do have a custom tune for nitrous from predator I dont see that tuning will increase the total capacity of the fuel system. It is important to reduce the timing thought. IMHO

The reason I still wonder is that the kit is made for 98-2002 f-bodies. Now 99-00 have smaller injectors (26.4). Was the kit with 100 shot made relatively "really" safe in order to accomodate the 99-00.
98-01-02 have bigger injectors and higher volume pumps.

Like you say Koolrayz, possibly timming could be an issue.
What WOT timming are u using for the 125 shot ?
And what is the stock WOT timming (I forgot), 28* ??
My friend got TR6 at .040 BTW (02 Z28)

With good gas, TR6's, and a MAFT I have made a ton of 150 shot passes with the stock fuel system on my bolt-on car. Just ATAP it and see if everything is okay. Good luck!
