Default Gained .5 and 7 mph in the 1/8 on 100 shot, sound right?

Took the car to the local 1/8 mile last night, just wondering if these times sound right. Plugs looked clean, A/F was good, car pulled ok, just thinking it would have gone faster. Went 7.03 @ 98 on motor, 6.56 @ 105.xx on the 100 shot. Was gonna pill it up and realized none of my jets were right for a larger shot. Gotta buy some. 1.49 short times, car just doesn't seem to wanna leave hard. I tried lowering my window switch to around 3400 (from 4100) and it barely helped.

I'd like to go in the 6.1x area, think a 150 shot will do it?

Combo:

TSP 408, 11.5:1, PRC heads, texas giant cam, TH350, 4.10's, 29" tires, BR7EF plugs out of the box gap, 116 in the stand alone, 93 in the tank, foot brake launch (TB doesn't seem to help?), pulling 4 degrees (unsure of initial timing though).

Thanks for any advice!

I think its set to stall about 4100 ish on a small shot. Again, kind of an unknown on this car. I'll post a couple vids, you can see it just doesn't "hit" very hard. 1.49 off the footbrake, not terrible, but I don't see why it wouldn't be quicker. Maybe just needs more bottle!

It all depends on how your car is setup. I gain something like 1.4 seconds on a 100 shot. That's due to the convertor. How are you launching it? I can't see the videos at work. Are you stabbing it, or loading up the convertor? Lower the window switch or do away with the bottom end of it. Are you on a WOT switch or a TPS?

I am footbraking it right now as the TB just doesn't seem to help. It releases slowly IMO. I can play with it more, but my best short times (1.4x) are off the footbrake.

I've tried loading it up and just going off like 1500, seems to launch better if I don't load it up. I am on a WOT switch, window switch is set to 3100 IIRC. I can just do away with the bottom end of it if the track is hooking, yes?

Thanks

I would have the spray set to come on at 3k rpm. Try leaving off idle and just flashing the converter. Maybe the converter is too tight.

is the first video leaving with the trans brake? it looks like it rolls for the first few feet before really picking up. doesnt seem like your hittin the tires hard at all.

Sounds to me like the converter is to tight. If it is only stalling at 4100 on the spray, it needs to either get loosened up or you need to spray a lot more N20 at it. I think you will get your best results like the other have said by stabbing the gas off idle so that you flash the converter as high as possible and hit the tires harder.

^^ I don't think he's spraying quick enough. It needs to be on the bottle when your on the gas. Or pretty much right off the line, hit the tires hard as hell and get that violent launch.
