Default Vid from last night. Thanks Nitrous outlet

Still tweaking the air fuel car is running rich but did get a chance get some of it lined out last night allthough it was a shootout night and Thanks to turbo cars blowing up leaving a oil trail. I never got it fully dial it in.
Thanks Dave@nitrous outlet for the help last night. Car ran its best at
1.33 60ft 8.2 @125.28mph in the 1000ft. launching like a beast. Car is a pig 3450lbs with stock Kmember and A arms, air bags. Running nitrous outlet D.P and dedicated.
Im hoping next week I can finish it and get the fuel dialed in. And get some 1/4 mile times our track had a shoot out so the track was shut down to a 1000ft runs only for the big cars.

That is sick! What size slicks are you running and are they drag slicks or dot? Just curious what you 10ish cars are running for tires.

Did you torque the hood open or just forget to clip it all the way?

What kinda of suspension mods do you have? We are running very similar 60fts. but mine doesn't launch straight like yours?

BTW nice times and runs!!

Just keep playing with it a little, and it's going to pick up a TON. Told ya the fuel jet would fix it

Tighten the front shocks up another click, or put some travel limiters on it and decrease the downtravel an inch or so and you'll have it leaving even better and probably see teh times drop a good bit again.

You're literally about 2 or 3 changes away from having an 8 second setup. Strap the front end down, play with the shocks a LITTLE BIT, like 1 click on the fronts, maybe, MAYBE stiffen the backs up 1 more, and just get the fueling right (or just increase the nitrous jet 1 size and leave the fuel where it is) and you'll be knocking on an 8 second pass

Thanks JL-WS6 I owe you big time for helping me out alot and for the wheel stands. lol, Im heading back to the track friday hoping to get my 9 sec timeslip.
As suspension goes it has wolf roll over drag bar,QA1s back and QA1s front coil over 315lb springs single adj, Chasis mount umi T.A. BURK,front bumper delete, stock K member and A arms,
Badboyz. I would check into getting a rear drag bar it help my car out alot on the launching. The biggest thing I have learned from JL is that it is amazing how the shocks fueling all go together on the 60ft with spray.

John Looking great.. From talking with you friday night sounds like you are getting close on the tune up. Give me a call so we can see what your final changes were and were the tune up was.

Need to get something to strap that hood down if the car is flexing that much. Its a mater of time before the hood comes up.. I hate the look of hood pins so maybe even cable it down from underneath..

Is there frame connectors on the car? If so that shouldn't be happening, especially with a 10 pt in the car.

If not, it is way past time for that!

The hood could have not been latched tight too, I had that happen once at a cruise night, hood wasn't shut all the way, and on the way home it popped up like that.... scary part of it was that I was on the highway when it happened buzzing along at 75

Just check the latch out, make sure it's catching right, and if the car's not tied up get that done before it starts to get flex cracks.

I agree, With a10 point cage, wolf rear sway bar and connectors there is no way the car should have enough flex for that to happen.

You may simply need to adjust the latch.

Car has frame connectors and cage. I will double check the latch. Maybe it was close to tight light JL said.

I'll have to look into that. Thats the one that welds onto the body of the car right? My car 60ft's great but just looks so ugly doing it...lol!! It twist super bad but I have stock suspension front and back other than a prokit in the front.

Yeah welds to the rearend and there is tabs that weld on the back of the car in front of the rear end. Or there is another brand that bolts to the rearend but you still have to weld the tabs. Straightens the car out. Plus the roll cage helps to.
