I just got around to installing my Nitrous Outlet 90mm Plate Kit and I have a quick (probably dumb) question. I have a Nick Williams 90mm TB with 5 bolt holes...I have a 90mm FAST Intake with 5 bolt holes...I have a Nitrous Outlet Plate with 4 bolt holes...anyone see my problem? LoL, it has a gap at the top of the mating point of the intake to the plate/tb and is letting air into the manifold...not so much good.

Did I get one that didn't have the 5th hole in the top drilled or something? Or is this normal?

Please keep in mind, I've had this since the second month they came out...think YEARS ago. I just never "got around to it". Life is hectic...has been for a while. LoL

Anyone care to shed some light on this for me?

Usually people only use the 4 bolt holes on the TB and Intake (the top center one not being used).

Let's just say, I can take a .035 feeler gauge and stick it between the intake and the nitrous plate. I haven't measured exactly the size of the gap but it is certainly an air leak.

Any suggestions? I can get pics tomorrow if needed to explain the situation more clearly if need be.

Thats a nice size vacume leak.Im pretty sure thats not normal for your platform. Im curious to see how you fix this problem. bump

maybe the other bolts are overtightened?

I ran my plate with 4 bolts, no issues at all.

Nope, Pulled the entire throttle body and plate off of the intake itself. Then I put all bolts hand tight and started to tighten all bolts evenly starting with the top ones first and rotated to the bottom ones using very little change in pressure and made sure I added only a little bit of pressure to each one each time I went around for an even dist. of torque all around...still can stick the .035 feeler gauge in there.

Am I the only person with this problem?

Is it a gap between the o-ring or just the intake and plate? The o-ring might still be sealing even if there is a gap there.
