What would happen if i was to run 100 or 150 shot of wet nitrous in my car untuned my mods are in my signature. The car is tuned now. But thinking of just throwing the n2o in there

Wouldnt do that with a stock pump. And youll probably max your injectors out. If your car is tuned with just enough fuel for the cam, it wont have enough up top for the nitrous.

Did they advance your timing in the tune? What pump are you running?

is this a serious question from the OP, who puts that kind of money into a car for all the mods in his sig, then goes on a budget while trying to throw 150 shot onto an already modded car. get a fuel pump and tune, or buy a new bottom end first time you use the nitrous.

i would think it is a little less dramatic than that. you need to put a pump in it but my largest concern is that pt4000 on even a hard hitting 100 shot they have had problems with being too loose if your shift points are reset or not. i would say a tune is not a bad thing at all, you still have torque management and stock shift points your car will go faster just by those two things being fixed.

That is exactly my thought.

FYI, most tuners will put some timing in a N/A cammed motor so I bet your above 23 degrees @ WOT. A stock pump can handle IMO 400-430 safely w/ 2002 injectors being the biggest should be sufficent given if it is a WET shot.

What I would be doing when the bottle goes on is a Racetronix (Walbro 255 lph) pump and take it to your tuner to roll back the timing for the max shot you may run.

the shift points have been adjusted. but i was thinking since its a wet kit and it will be throwing gas and n2o at the same time that it wont need a tune and i am going to do a 100 shot. so i wont max out the pump.
