Default How much would you spray at this set up?

455 pontiac block .30 over 463ci. Cast steel crank 4.210 stroke, forged pistons and rods 10.5:1 compression. Ported edelbrock performer heads flowing above 300cfm. 825 mighty demon carb. All through a th400 3700 stall on the trans brake. Have a plate set up but curious as to what my limit should be.

On my 69 I had butler performance ported Iron heads (6x) on my 462 with the trw forged pistons and reworked rods, on a stock crank. was running a comp solid roller cam in it with the performer RPM intake and a holley 850. I had mine jetted for a 250 shot and made a ton of passes on the motor and never had any problems, just be sure to pull enough timing out of the car, your compression is a little higher than mine it was 9.75-1 but your running the aluminum heads, and can get away with it they dissapate the heat alot better.

Did you dyno the car? From doing research it says 700 is the limit on a cast steel crank... Thats what I am worried about. With my ported heads being done I should easily be close to 650whp which is close to the supposed limit... I have the msd high speed retard box so I will just put a pill in to pull timing. I am going to dyno the car once the heads are back on I just dont want to seize the motor on the dyno by spraying the 250 shot. What ET's were you getting on the bottle? Thanks for the imput
