Burnt a hole in nitrous feed line, need a new hose end

Default Burnt a hole in nitrous feed line, need a new hose end

I somehow arched my nitrous feed line to my positive battery cable and It burnt the stainless braiding of the line, i need to cut the line and put a new -6 fitting on it, where do i get the part? and tool to clamp it?

You need a press. Go to a local hydraulic shop and they should be able to hook you up

ive got a press but need the metal halves that compress the fitting to the line, also where do i get the actual fitting?

A local hydrolic hose supply shop should have what you need. Simmit or jegs should also have the end you need.

Like the other guys said above. You can get the line fittings at any hydraulic shop. If you'd rather send it to us we can do it for you too.

the thing is the line is soo routed i dont want to remove it and crimp a new end on it. But if i end up having to remove it i will. If i carefully remove the sleeve collar and get a new one i should be able to crimp it together. is there a special crimp sleeve or will this work? = http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EAR-698063ERL/ ??

It takes a special fitting for a Teflon braided line, I did the same thing a few years ago and found these fittings and has been on the every sense.
