It really comes down to how you plan to introduce the nitrous. I use windowswitches regaurdless.
I have used time delays as well as progressive controllers and gear lock outs.
If looking to do a time delay we have a really nice digital time delay box.
The honest truth is if you can hit it all out the hole thats the way to go..

I believe I remember ATVracr saying in another thread that they could leave on 400 right away with the 275/60/15's on. Granted the track has to be there but I don't think you would have a problem leaving on all 250 if the car is setup right suspension wise.

I used to hook a 200 out of the hole on 255/50/16 mickey DR's. Track had to be there though.
If you want to go no frills 250 hit, just wait to hit it until after the car is moving, halfway through first or so.
i don't see how you would have a problem hooking out of the hole on 28 10.5s. the 325/50 mickeys should almost take that hit too depending on suspension setup

Dave helped me. I leave on a 250 shot out of the hole off the Tbrake. You have to get your suspension dialed in on the shot you want to use. Running a 10.50 et drag 15x10.

With a slick or a dot slick I leave on 300+ at the release of the trans brake. I have a window switch but it is mainly in case I have a drive line failure. I want something to turn off the nitrous if the motor free revs. Just if you set up car to leave like that it is a dog on motor.
