Default A4 guys, has anyone went back to 3.23s from 3.73s for nitrous?

My 3.73s broke, but I still have my stock 3.23s. I'll probably get them put in for now until I can afford a stronger rear. Will I lose, gain, or neither going back to 3.23s on nitrous? I'm more concerned mph wise than et. I really don't care the effect it has n/a for now. Major mods are h/c, fast 92, 4000 stall, 26" dr's.

I would go with a 3:42 gears man. Thats what I had in my old 10 bolt and worked fine. 3:23 Is a little to high.

Thanks, but I figured it's pointless buying another gear set just for it to break. Besides, the 3.23s may spare me alot more time until I'll get a stronger rear.

I just want to know if anyone made the switch back to 3.23s, along with their gains or losses.

if your on 26 inch dr's 323 will work fine for now they would be prime with 342's on a 26 inch, however if you do go back with the 373's with a stronger rearend id put 28 inch tires on, will get more mph and better et's

Well, it ended up being the ring gear bolts backing out, so the 3.73s are ok. I went ahead and put the 3.23s back in since I didn't gain **** with the 3.73s anyway. I should gain a little on the bottle since nitrous likes tall gears.

really depends on the cam to say what gear to run with spray. I know i am looking to go through the traps around 6500rpms so looking at going with 3.90 gears on a 27" tall tire for my set up.
