Default Nitrous Outlet LT1 Plate Question

I currently have a stock unported intake and stock TB. Would there be an issue if I bought the 58mm plate knowing that I am going to upgrade to a 58mm TB in the future? Thanks.

A stock un-ported intake has 52mm openings. If you installed a 58mm plate on it without port matching those openings it may cause the nitrous to hit a slight wall but I am unsure of what angle the nitrous sprays into the intake. It may work ok with it but if I were you the intake would come off and I would have the openings matched.

Makes sense. Just wanted to make sure there weren't any major problems I would run into.

You should be ok but it would be better to port the intake opening to the 58mm so that away there is'nt a chance of it hitting the intake opening.
