Default What does a 100-125shot feel like?

Guys I'm getting excited for my first time using nitrous on my car, but at the same time I'm a little nervous.

It will feel nice...

It's really hard to explain other than it will push into the seat harder and the feel of acceleration will be greater.

Afterwords you will look like this i promise

The world gets all blurry, your diamond-plate floor pans fall out, and there is danger to your intake manifold.

Seriously though, in my car, it's a bigger kick in the pants off the line, then once you're at speed, the car keeps pulling hard, instead of "nosing over" and settling in.

You will be grinning like a kid at Christmas, I guarantee it. I was smart and gave all the bigger jets to my wife for "safekeeping".

I agree with DOUBT IT, I launch on a 150 shot off the line, and half the time I wonder how I'm ever able to shift into sencond gear.

yea, just remember to open all 5 bottles under the passenger seat. its hard to explain except an instant jerk you back into the seat feel. just make sure the bottle pressure is right or youll be disappointed witht the hit when the bottle is at 600psi.

YOU WILL LOVE IT! my first time was on a 50 shot with no gauges and stock plugs, but i couldnt resist! i was up till 1230 am installing it and when it was done and i knew the noids were firing right, i could resist, i was scared out of my mind but i had my buddy right next to me coaching me, but the whole time, you gotta think, whats another 50 or 100 hp. i loved it some much i ran the whole brand new bottle empty that night! And the smile on my face was all i had, then the next day i couldnt resist to put the 100 pills in, and do it from a dig. Too much, ran another bottle out.

I ran through about 15 bottle inside the first month i had it, and decided to sell it BIGGEST mistake of my life, i missed it so much.

Trust us all! YOU WILL LOVE EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF IT! Just please remember to be safe.

Thanks for the info guys. The only thing im really worried about is losing traction in first gear. I can just arm the system in second correct?

you can arm in which ever gear you choose, but dont spray under 3k rpm. Traction is over rated, lol. j/k. Just do it from a roll, and roll into the pedal. I was on an fjo controller so i didnt have to worry about anything. It was preset to come on and go off when i told it too. which was 3k on and 6k off. and spray at WOT. and i didnt have first gear locked out.

itll be fun, just be safe, and make sure you have plenty room around you.

I think it all depends on what you are used to. I was coming from a 650 rwhp KB Cobra and was running 460 in the FRC when I sprayed a 100 shot on top of it. I thought there was gonna be more to it but it didnt really impress me at all. Even at the track I ran a 10.5 on the 100 shot and still wasnt happy.

I switched it to a 150 and thats a little better but im still lookling for more... but who isnt? LOL

I tell everyone that going with nitrous to get the fuel mods and necessary upgrades (if any) to the kit you run and get the car tuned for AT LEAST a 150 shot. I am running a 150 right now (on top of a 460-400 rwhp on stock block) and im thinking of bumping it to a 200 with a little more tuning! ! ! LOL

It feels and looks exactly like fast and the furious. Everything gets really blurry and you can barely keep the car going straight because it pushes you back in the seat so hard . Jk haha, it'll feel like you car did before, just faster lol. The first time we tested out a 100 shot on my old car, I hit it at about 40 mph for about a second, becuase it completely started to kick the rear sideways. Make sure you have some good tires
