Default testing solonoids with HSW Microedge

I have the 78mm HSW plate kit, along with the Microedge...Everything is hooked up, I have all the settings set according to their manual, I flip the switch and it arms...go WOT, it triggers...but the solonoids arent turning on..I believe there is some settings I need to change on the microedge to activate the noids at WOT while the car is in accessory mode, but I did a search and cant find what those settings are. Anyone have any idea's?? Solonoids are powered to the relay and they are grounded at the factory battery ground so I know they are getting power...thanks in advance.

In the instructions it states what to set the microedge to inorder to do a test run. U can find the instructions on hsw site under the Tech Support tab along the top. If I remember correctly, set rpm windows to "0". Make sure ur Gear Indicator is displaying "1". Lower ur TPS setting so that u can b sure u are hitting that when u floor it or u can set TPS to "0" and solenoids should spray when ur arming switch Is turned on. Check this info against the instructions tho. Its been awhile since I installed my edge.

You can store up to 3 files. When I had the Microedge, I kept one file to test, one file for single stage, and one file for two stages.

thats what I will do. I already have two files saved. One for a dead stop run, one for a roll...I will use the 3rd as a test file. Im only doing a single stage.

one last thing. The Grey wire from the controller, I didnt hook up to anything because thats the second stage wire. I figured sense I wasnt using a second stage, I leave it free hanging...am I correct??

That's actually a pretty slick idea...makes for quick testing.

So I finally tested them today.

Solonoids clicked, and worked. A little gas came out of the fuel which I had it drip into a can...

my Microedge said !LEAN! which shut off the solonoids...but they did work. I dont have the orange wire (o2 or wideband) hooked up yet....I was going to wire it into the o2's but its getting street and dyno tuned on/off the bottle the 17th. Should I just disable the o2 lean shut down?? Right now I have it set at .400V.

Disable the lean shutdown. That was one of a few features I never used.

I don't remember, but I thought it could just be enabled and disabled. I'm going to a handheld push button activation single stage. Instead of pedaling for traction, i'll just let off the button before I lift.

Where you at Nick?

Go to the setup menu. Lean shutdown is the last item in that file. Set it to off.

No problem. I spent a LOT of hours this week installing my wet kit and microedge, only to have to send the micro back. Internal fuse for the ground outs or something. Hope they get it back quick.

Correct, "leanout" is the one you want.
Meh, it's just my luck. I get the one out of a thousand that has an issue. They'll fix it and get it back to me though, no worries.

I thought if you were only using one stage you were suppose to ground the gray wire??? I though thats what it said in the instructions..
