Default Timing twister?

I am looking for a way to retard my timing for my nitrous. I have been looking at the timing twister and from my understanding it plugs into the crank and cam sensor and keyed 12v and ground. My question is can you get to the cam sensor without pulling the intake. And the crank sensor without pulling the starter. It is on a 99 vette. Just looking for the quickest and easiest way to pull my timing my bottle is full and I wanting to spray it bad just need to retard the timing.

Do you mean the timing tuner? If so you just need to plug it into the crank sensor which is above and very close to the back end of the starter. You will need to get the starting motor out of the way to reach it. You will need to drop the exhaust manifold to get to the starter. The 2 nitrous wires need a 12v source and a ground. I don't know about the timing twister. If you have the timing tuner are you going to also utilize its window switch function?

Here is a link to a pic of the crank sensor plug on a C5

go to post #8 and open that link for the picture

If you are looking for the easiest / best way to pull timing then i'd suggest going with the lingenfelter unit http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...1&product=3467 . It plugs into the coil packs and is easy all getout to wire up.

Yeah Craig I think I am going to order it and just get a bolt on tune from Glen this weekend. You better get your setup done or your going down. You need to take sat off and cruise up to okc with me road trip. Thought about hitting the street scene up there.

You will have to wait a while to call me out when I'm drunk because I haven't been drinking as much lately.

The lingenfelter is just a timing controller / 2step only.
