a buddy of mine had a 99 z28 with a fuel pump and a tune. he said he was spraying 300 on nos dry kit but i dont know, when came to the track he would run 8.90's to 9.00's on the moter then when he sprayed his fastest time that i seen was 6.90's. i thought that was pretty good.

when you run the dry system anything over 100-125 will need tuning to be correct. I use to have 2 pcm programs one was for n/a and the second was tuned to run a 230 shot dry, if the car wasnt up up normal operating temp when the nitrous program pcm went in or just ran too long without the juice the car would be excessivly rich and load up, and was no good to drive around town on the nitrous program

you want something hidden, look into daves "money maker kit" if i hadnt seen one, i would have no clue what to look for. probably one of the best hidden kits i have ever seen.
i run a 125 dry in my vet. i like it it hits pretty soft so it helps with traction, but at the same time i like the wet kits better for stock cars, your not depending on the maf, injectors etc.

With the dry, using the MAF to add fuel...(no interface, SD Tune, or any other devices), seems when you max out the MAF Freq that would be the theoretical "old school" Max Dry shot answer?

If you are new to nitrous I would recommend a 100 wet shot or maybe a 150 if you take timing out. MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE PLUGS DO NOT RUN STOCK PLUGS. I used a 100 dry on my stock injector and they were maxed out at 120 percent duty cycle. I then put in 36 pound injectors and tried a 125 and it showed 90 percent duty cycle with spark knock which told me it was probably lean. I said to hell with it and just put a TNT wet plate kit with 100 shot. Have been nothing but happy 15 or so bottles later.
To sum it up, go wet if you are a noob to nitrous. It's the easiest to not **** up in my opinion. I know a lot of you guys love your dry shots and thats fine I'm not trying to start a dry/wet battle just stating my opinion and you can take it however you want.
BTW I have a 01 C5 M6 stock other than flip tie mod, ti exhaust (not really a power mod but weight mod). Stock injectors were 28.8 that were maxing out.
