Default Help with n2o numbers

Well after a disappointing day at the dyno I'm now trying to figure out what's wrong with my set up. Aside from running out of juice.

Car makes 351 unlocked and 345 torque. Kit is a Brand X kit using a HSW plate. Jets are a .78 and .38. The torque converter is a Yank SS3600. It flashed to 5225. Peak hp was 475 and the same on torque. It peaked right at the intial hit and power fell like a rock from outer space. Turns out I had less in the bottle than I thought, actually nothing but air.

My main question is why does my torque seem really low compared to other set ups I've seen. Seems like most have anywhere from 50-100 more torque than h.p.

Yup. Fuel is not an issue. I"m also beginning to wonder if I'm maxing out the -4 lines.

Empty bottle will make you disappointed all the time. Get a good fill on it before you do anything. Maybe I missed it but what solenoids are you running with the plate?

Going back later this week. Last time with the 175 jets it only picked up about 125.

I'm running Nitrous Outlet 'noids.

for your torque question if it flashed to 5200 that is beyond peak tq so thats where you think you are missing some. Most make peak torque in the 4500 area and you arent seeing 175 to the wheels because the converter isnt locked and it is losing power slipping through the lose converter.

oh yea and that .078 jet if you are really using it, it a lot bigger then 175. its in the 250 range. .067 is a 175 or so. .072 is around 200.

Ya my tuner was telling me this earlier when I called him about it. Makes sense about the torque not showing up.

As for the jet, it is a .72, don't know where I got the .78 from.

Just got home from the dyno again.

548 rwhp and 547 rwtq. N/A unlocked today was 330. So its def. picking up over 200 now. Looks like a nano kit is in order with how hard it was falling off though.
