For a 150 shot you definitely need to pull timing now the method is really your choice. You can get a nitrous tuning in which timing will always be retarded even when you run your car motor only. Now if you want the ability for the car to perform at its peak potential on motor and to be able to spray safely when you choose to, then you need to buy a nitrous controller that will pull timing when you choose to spray. A very popular one is the HSW Microedge along with the LNC-002 I personally have the HSW Interface controller that pulls timing the moment I arm the nitrous system. Do some research on these nitrous controllers to see which best suits your needs or future nitrous upgrades. I'm sure a sponsor will come in here and suggest what they have to offer you. Now remember there are other upgrades for that big of a shot that are necessary for spraying safely like injectors, fuel pump, and cold plugs.

I just flash a separate tune. I've really been thinking about doing the IAT trick to pull the timing so I don't have to flash between N/A and N2O.

Any of the tuners from HSW or Nitrous Outlet work great.

I for one just did the timing tricker. Been using it for almost a year now and no issues.

If you want the best of both worlds ( Max hp/ timing N/a and max hp on the jug )then I'd suggest getting the Lingenfelter unit. By far the best timing controller out on the market Right now for the LSx vehicles.

What about the plugs? Do you need to worry about going to a colder plug?

my question is how do i wire them together with my fp hobbs shut off and tps and tach signal and relays (basically rewireing from scratch) cause i had a weird issue i think the controllers were getting in each others way cause the nos would come on and off sevral times during the dyno runs and my fp was fine

Pretty much, you put a pcm pin into the C2 connector hole marked 56.

Pull the grey plastic cover off and look on the bottom row. You'll see that each spot has a number. Find #56, put your pin into that hole and wire it into the ground side of the solenoids.

Make sure you have a wire already connected to the pcm pin when you go to stick it in the empty hole or your fucked...

Also, I believe that EFI live is the only tuning software that recognizes this COS(custom operating system). Maybe somebody else can verify this as well

Depends, you need to pull plugs and see what they look like. The plug will TELL YOU whats going on.
