Default 200 shot on stock LS1?

Can a Bone stock LS1 motor take a 200 shot of nitrous without causing damage? People say it can but i believe 150 shot is max on a stock ls1 motor.

I've seen cars run a 200 shot with too hot of a plug on a bad tune up and be fine. They only did it a time or two, though. And they didn't really gain much.

The tune up needs to be spot on to make it safe and to be worth doing.

yep it can be done, but the tune better be spot on if you want it to last any amount of time.

Also to add to what he said you need to make sure you have the correct amount of timing pulled and the tune up has to damn near be spot on or it's gonna go bad real quick.
