Default No tune 150 shot

I just finished installing my NX 150 shot and the dyno shop is extremely busy today so i was wondering can i run the shot safely without a tune if i fill up with 100 octane?

Is is possible, Yes. Would I do it or recommend it, NO! Take my advice and wait on the tune.

Many times and friends cars aswell as my own cars have seen 150 without a tune. just change plugs tr6 ngk be sure you have good fuel pressure and have fun....

I will also say that a dyno tune with a wideband will enhance your set up on and off the spray.

I have a mix of 110 octane and 92 in my tank now. Also, im running ngk br7ef plugs gapped at .032

atleast you have the right plug in it, I still wouldnt do it but good luck. spray a 100 if you HAVE to spray

I sprayed a handfull of bottles through mine before i even hit the dyno. Call me stupid but i gave out a lot of butthurt that had to be done

Nope. Never had anything to pull timing for the last 2 1/2 years i've had spray on the car. I just now got a timing tuner and just got it hooked up yesterday actually... pulled 7* and it seems to run better.

This is thread is a good example of why you should becareful who you take your advice from.

Chris and camscam02 and myself all reccomend to wait and do things right the first time.
