Default New Engine build 408 W NITROUS OUTLET D.P

I was contemplating on what to do this summer. I'm still stuck on pushing spray to the limit one more year. So why not build a bad a$$ 408 head and main stud and start the spraying at 250 then go up to 400 shot toward the end of summer.
With the old 370 I had it went 9.78 with a safe tune and in a 3600lb car. The car still has air bags, interior and stock K member and A arms.
I may put her on a diet.

So I'm going to start my build and try and post pictures up of the motor assembly and engine and trans going together.
Thanks to Dave @Nitrous Outlet for the helping with all the nitrous knowledge.
Car will be going to to Daves late summer to get the final teaking on the Nitrous tune.

At least get a low 11 or high 10s .The nitrous stall really robs your time NA.
Best I got out of the 370 Na was low 11s with that stall. If you talk to alot of guys on here that have a Big Nitrous stall they are usually around that area high 10s low 11s. Then when you push it with spray thats when the stall really does its job.

I agree with that, pretty much why I havent touched mine. Not worth it until I can purchase a good one. 2500 bucks later...

and yes with the tighter converter in it mine is an 11.0 car is really good weather on motor. 200 worth puts it in the 9.70's. hoping to get in the 50's now maybe 40's with the new upgrades...

looks good and good luck with your goals

I bet with FTP lid and Chrs1313 RA you would see big gains over that K&N setup.

Looks like my shop car it's almost done. Wish I would have dona a th400 now though. Well I'm sure the one on the shelf will end up in the camaro. I'm hoping for low 9's on a 300 shot.

like Larry said definitely get a ram air setup in there...right now you are getting alot of engine heat and no ram effect...I would say an easy 3mph gain with a FTP lid and a good ram air setup...

Sweet, I have something to pray for this year. I'd even be happy with .2 slower. My car also runs 11.0-11.1's on motor, and I specced my converter pretty tight for spray too too.
