What rpm are you leaving the line at? You shaved 1.4 almost with a 100 shot! I am guessing with a stock converter you are leaving and spraying at 2000rpm or so!? If this is the case wile you are making crazy time slips you are putting allot of stress on the motor making all that extra torque that the 4.8 doesn't usualy make at such a low rpm.

Maybe I am looking to deep or with the minimal info on all your runs it isn't so bad but those are awesome times, but just don't want you to blow up the motor spraying too low of an rpm.

It has a performabuild 3600 stall. Nitrous is on a wot switch. The converter always seemed tight. The extra tq from the nitrous help it stall a little more. between my long solenoid lines and tat lazy drive by wire im sure its not coming on before 3000.

I have a blast in that truck its actually slowing the progress of my 99SS. My ss ran 10.70 on motor its set up for nitrous maybe i'll get some runs on it before the end of the year. But to answer your question i was probably more proud of that 12 than I was the 10 in the camaro.

Congrates... I had more fun with my 66 and 69 chevy trucks than any of my other cars and they were not near as fast as my cars.

Something is impressive about seeing a truck go fast.

No doubt, this is 6 years old. Now I would run a much colder plug on the tune and up the spray to 200 or 250. The truck had a cheap *** converter in it. With a better stall and better nitrous tune I could run much faster than that. Sold the Truck about 5 years ago. I don't mess with nitrous anymore, I've switched to turbo on my cts V and That will be was I use on my 57 Belair
