Default Question on installing direct port kit

I finally got my kit i have a pro race fogger the reason i have that kit is i got a smokin deal on it anyways my question is the nozzles are annuler discharge and the directions say point it at the valve area. How the hell are you suppose to aim the nozzle at the valve area when its sprays out the bottom because its annuler discharge. By the way its going into my ls6 intake any pointers on install would be a help thanks.

To make a long story short you have to figure out how to aim it straight down next to the injectors. The annular nozzles aren't the greatest on our intakes because of space. An cast intakes like an LT1 I've seen them used when they were able to weld an additional bung on the runner. Unfortunately there isn't enough meat in the LS6 intake to really do that. Unless you can find someone that can make some plastic bungs and RF weld them to the intake, it'll probably be a pain in the ***.

You might be better off. Just take a look and see what you think you'll be comfortable with.

Yes I do. Here's a writeup on mine. http://www.derty.org/?body=Installs&content=directport

he NOS should be similar. For you the only thing that is really different is the nozzle placement.

The pro race comes with annuler or soft plum i have the annuler nozzle but i only payed 700.00 for the kit brand new. Ive been messing around with my old intake drilling on a drill press and taping just to see how it will work out and it doesnt seem as bad as i thought it would be. But im putting the nozzles up on the inside of the fuel rail insead of outside by the injectors. It seems to give me more room. I wish i knew how to post pics to show how it looks for thoughts on the setup.

If you have a digital camera it should be no problem. Just start a community.webshots.com account (free) and upload them from your computer to the site. Then link the webshots page in post on this thread and everyone can look at them.
