Default Anyone running a direct port on a LS1?

Such as a NOS Sportsman fogger system?

The system isn't too expensive, and is from 150-300 horses.

Will these systems work on a ls1?

Thanks alot guys.

that system will work fine, you just need a low pressure fuel system to get it to work. that is probably going to be the way i am going to do it but with the
pro fogger.

Thats what I was thinking, Just use a fuel pressure regulator.

The 600 sportsman fogger sure is alot cheaper than the noszle system.

Do any of you guys know if you can just use the noszles with the sportsman fogger so you don't have to drill the manifold?

I have a n.o.s. fogger system and a low pressure fuel system, battery in trunk, love it ,you can see it in my web page below. if you mount your battery in the trunk you should get a gelcell battery because its inside the your car.a stock battery has liquid in them witch can give off fumes .The fumes are very very explosive it's call Hydrogen gas a gelcell does not give off any gases witch is safe.

Lower pressure systems are more popular because you can use a more standard race kit. A little more flexible in the tune up, but you can get the same job done with the high pressure setup. The higher pressure direct ports typically are for running off from the stock fuel systems. Something that becomes an issue/concern when you start going faster. Last thing you want to do is lean out your fuel system for the injectors to feed your direct port.

also the jet sizes that tell you how much horse power your going to be running are off of low pressure, you up the pressure the jet charts wont be correct!

That's not entirely correct. You can purchase a direct port from NX for high pressure fuel systems. Comes with an entirely different jet map. When I was pricing out my system that was an option I had. I don't know anyone that has one though.

Do you have to have a whole seprate fuel system, or can you run a regulator off the stock system?

I don't like the look of either the Noszle or NXL system, plus they are a little high on the price side for a nitrous system. When a true direct port can probley be built cheaper imo.

the noszle is a true direct port system, just not conventional plumbing. i can attest to its power level: 638/705 in a stock bottom end, "race" tune.

when set up well, it looks ok. just need to put the time in and not cut any corners...it took me a while to get it right, but the outcome was pretty good. i am going with steel lines in the future.

We use the NX direct port here. Low pressure system. We have one on Tom Kempf's 00 Camaro (fastr-thanu). He has pic's on this board some where. Nice clean install. We sell the kits already plumbed on an LS6 intake, ready to go.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Here is a pic of my AP-Engineering plumbed intake. Secondary fuel system set up for low pressure. I run a holley black pump. No issues thus far.

Let me know if you have any questions or need any other pics. Derty wrote up a pretty descriptive list of fuel system requirements for this type of application. Maybe he could post a link to it, it was very detailed.

Here's my writeup so far. Take it with a grain of salt, it will get you pretty close to what I have but may or may not be what you are looking for! Send me a message if you have any questions about it.
