Default OMG NX is CRAZY

i have an NXL and i broke a couple of the little lines that go from the fuel rail to the thing that holds the fuel injector. i called up NX and asked them to overnight me a couple(on monday) i knew they wouldnt be free so i gave them my credit card #. so, 2 days later(wednesday)they come with a bill for $80.00!!!! $30.00 a piece for the little p.o.s. hoses and $20.00 for the (not)next day delivery.
thats an outrageous amount of money for those crap little lines. im going to call NX tomorrow and bitch.

It always cost more money to buy directly from the manufacture.Thats so that they are not in compitition with there dealers. Its cheaper to buy from a dealer.

Accumulator is a small add-on that safely stores some fuel while your car is running. It releases the fuel when the kit is activated, filling the rails instantly and keeping the kit from getting a "hesitation" that some are effected by. NX is developing this accumulator as an addition because it is not a necessity, but more of a convenience for those racing nd counting every thousanth of a second.

And yeah, go thru Dave, not only The Best Customer Service, but reliable, competent and all around great crew. When I needed a line replaced on my NXL, he hooked me up with the tech rep and it was free. Thanks again Dave.

The accumulator is needed to eliminate the huge lean spike when the system is activated as it could lead to severe engine damage. Personally I can't believe that NX has the ***** to charge people for a part needed to correct a serious problem with their system.

i agree gold but what can we do
dave, would we be able to work something out where i get(got) the lines from you through NX so i dont have to pay $30.00 a piece? i would like to get the accumulator too so maybe you could take a deposit on that and just send it in a package by itself when it comes out?
also, i dont know weather or not i should have gotten a gauge with the kit but it didn't. in light of that, i'd also like to order a pressure gauge but what is the need for a "manifold" and what is the difference between a D4 and a D6?

Big, the manifold is nothing more than a fitting that has another outlet, or port to hook up a gauge or what have you.

-4 is the line size for the NXL kit. -6 is bigger. (D4 or D6)

I would spend the extras $$$ for the electric gauge so it can be mounted in your view when running the system. You cant monitor the pressure drop when the gauge is on the bottle.

Would be nice if all the NXL buyers got together and made public notice to NX they would like the accumulator. A quiet voice is never listened to.
