For the 5177 no other upgrade necessary for u besides a window switch. u do not want to spray between shifts.
I have A4 and I spray 150fwhp dry (Approx: 130 rwhp). just monitor KR.
5177 is pretty complete.
It doesn't hit as hard as wet but I think it is more gentle on the tranny/ dif rear.

Go with the TNT F1 wet kit.

That is what I run. Totally stock engine, stock fuel pump, stock injectors. Only 100 shot. DA was +4000. Best run 11.38 at 124 on 28x10.5x15 ET Drags - with a 1.50 60' time .

BUT, I'll be putting in heads/cam this spring. I'll be upgrading the injectors to SVO 30# (which is like 36# for our cars) and a RaceTronix drop in fuel pump (this will work with your 98 also). I MAY buy the TNT F2 upgrade and go for 200 shot

What do you need? The entire TNT F1 kit, window switch, purge (does help get the initial hit and looks kool also ). Upgraded SVO 30# (safe is better and should cut down your duty-cyle for for the injectors) and the drop-in RaceTronix fuel pump.

Couple other things you will want: 12-bolt, with a good set of gears. Upgraded tranny. A 2-step for the track.

If you have LS1 Edit, just have your tuner do 2 programs. One for engine only and one for nitrous runs. Swap programs, vice having to worry about time, fuel, etc on nitrous.

Good Luck.

Thanks you guys. The Strange 12 Bolt is just waiting for my mechanic-friend at the dealership, but I can't afford any upgrades to the tranny anytime soon. So what you're saying is if I go with the TNT, upgrade the injectors & pump, but with the dry 5177, I won't need it.

Gotcha. With a hopeful tax return, know where I'm going with it! I am leaning towards the 5177 because I want to preserve my driveline....
