That intake has the places for the o-rings, but I figured that if it gets ported than they might have to remove material where the O-rim should fit. The very edge of the paper gasket is right where the o-ring groove is. Waiting on the heads to see how the intake gasket matches up.

Personally I prefer our custom matched spray bars over any mass produced plate on the market.
The spray bars are made and flow matched to each intake. Since our bars are placed down into intake plenum we are able to manipulate the spray pattern and attomized delivery into each cylinder much better than a plate that bolts up on top of the plenum.
A 4150 style throttle body would produce more flow over a forward facing throttle body using an elbow. However many people still use the elbow. We offer a elbow that will prevent you from having to trim the cowl with the victor jr.
We also offer a custom solenoid bracket to use in conjuction with teh spray bars. We like to use this bracket and hardline the solenoids to the spray bars. We then put the tuning jets right at the exit fitting from the solenoid. Makes changing jets super easy.
You can see the solenoid bracket in these pictures.
Like stated in this thread the casting of these intake is rough and I suggest port matching if you have the time. Alot of people do not port match them but doing so will give you the best flow.
Due to the intake runner design I personally would not just bolt any plate on these intakes with out bench flowing it and checking the discharge pattern. If ordering a mass produced plate you need to be carefull what you are getting. There is alot of junk on the market (putting it nicely)
I personally have used spray bars in my last 3 personal cars. The current shop car only has spray bars. I like to use a directport to push sales of our directports but last year someone made some statements I disagreed with so I am out to show what a properly designed spray bar can do.
We have customers spraying much more than you would expect through our spray bars and they have been kicking butt all season. Unfortintly we cant share who they are and what they are doing. I wish we could.
Trust me.. Our custom spray bars work..and they work very well... Spark plug reading dont lie.
