Default 125+ shot on a c6 GS. Will she hold?

Ok I have been reading and learning about nitrous on the vette, but have a few more questions to help put my mind at ease.

Ok current mods on the GS MN6.

full exhaust
intake
tune
and nitto NT05 335 out back.

knowing what my current mods are how does this setup sound.

??? plate kit...make a suggestion
Nano kit
WOT switch
window switch
Fuel pressure switch
purge

am I missing anything of necessity?

Now onto the size shot. I'm at 420rwhp and 420tq on motor and would like to be around 550 on the juice.

so I'm thinking a 125-150 shot.

The issue is will my stock ls3 clutch hold? It will not be tracked and the NO2 will come on in 2nd gear. I would rather back the shot down and save my clutch if it's going to give out.

Let me know your guys opinions. Thanks

also if anyone setup they are looking to sell that meets my needs let me know!

thanks mike

I would upgrade the clutch first then put a kit on it. I seen 3 vets in 2 weeks amoke there clutch on motor.

were they LS2? I know the ls3 have the same clutch as the z06 smoking a clutch on motor has to be tough.

i would do the clutch as well it wont hold it with 125-150 shot since the torque is even higher then that. You might be ok for a while on the 75 shot till your clutch needs replacing down the road and then once you replace it down the road to a better clutch then up your shot. That way you use up your clutch as much as you can before you change it.

you should be fine with a 150 shot. Ive used the zex wet plate kit on a few LSx cars and also on a 04 tahoe and have loved them. i usualy go with a nitrous outlet switch pannel too, the blend with the interior real well.

we just did a clutch on my cts-v and didnt realize how much the stock clutch was slipping untill we put the new clutch it- pulls way harder

I think the clutch will hold for a while. When it dies, just get another one.
Also, try the nitrous outlet combo progressive, window/tps switch. Its really nice. You can set the nitrous to come on slower and protect the driveline and not shock the car as hard when the power comes on.

One thing that concerns me is that you don't have spark reduction anywhere on your list of things to do. A 150 shot is a healthy hit of nitrous. I'm guessing that "tune" has increased spark in it. I would suggest 1 step colder plugs also.
