Question 2nd stage or just bigger jet?

I'm currently running a 100 dry shot into my Procharger pipe before the intercooler. It works VERY well but looking for just a bit more, probably 150.

What would be the best way to do it; add a second stage or just bump the jet size and slow down the ramp a bit with the controller (NOS Launcher)? Any specific advantages to either one other than cost?

Thanks!

On a 100 to a 150, just jet bigger...
If you were adding more and were just blowing off the tires at low speeds, then I would consider a 2nd stage to add after you get to a higher speed in a different gear...

Launches fine with the 100, I figure I can just play with the ramp to keep it that way. Here's an onboard video from last week

What times are you running?

Sounds like you need to adjust your 1-2 shift..

If your nozzle can flow 150 I say just up the shot..

.

2nd stage is for when you can't control the launch, or you need 2 drastically different HP tune up's.
My 2 cents, KISS and stick with what you're doing until you can't get it off the line.
Plus I'm cheap, why spend all that money just for another 50 or even a little more??

Good luck.

I think the shifts are about as good as can be considering I'm pushing 720 HP with a stock 6L80.....

Runs 10.30 @ 134

Yes, stock bottom end too. Procharger, cam, 3.70 gear, dry nitrous shot, 3600 coverter, etc (the standard stuff). Dyno was a DynoJet. 724 is actually calculation based on no nitrous, converter locked, no nitrous unlocked, nitrous unlocked because it wouldn't lock with the nitrous. I expect its accurate with 5 hp.

Most of my vids are helmet cam stuff. You've seen the best one. There's some vids from ECS on LS1GTO.com in the ECS section
