Default TNT Sprayed 350 rwhp through thier power ring setup

I was on the phone ordering a few TNT kits today to restock.

Whoever it was that answered the phone, i asked him "have you guys ever taken one of your dual fogger power ring kits above 250 rwhp???"

And he told me that they have jets for up to a 350 rwhp shot, and they have sprayed 350 rwhp safely on a forged ls1 with it. He has no worries spraying that hard with distribution with "thier nozzles compared to the rest of the industrys, because ours are that much better"

Any thoughts???

That makes me go hmmmmmmmmmm

I would not do a shot that size without a direct port or nozzle type setup, but that is me. As it has been said many time before your intake was never designed to flow fuel correctly.

Actually back when I was running the TNT Power Ring setup, I called TNT and asked them what was the most I could spray through the power ring, thet told me they wouldn't recommend anything over a 250 shot.

It was then I decided to go with a direct port setup.

The hold back to a 250 shot with the F2 kit is the size of the N20 noid and the 4an line. Upgrade to a 6an line and bigger noid, you got 350 all day. Thats why Texas boys are so quick.

Yea he told me that if you got the F2 kit with the 6an line and 4an feed line to the foggers then a full 350 rwhp is no problem and with thier foggers he they have had 100% success with it. The solenoid will flow it.

Scary!!!! take my nice little 500 rwhp setup to 800-850 with a little powerring kit..

that sure does sound good. i would like to see someone try this and if it works ok then i will try it . i built this new engine to take that kind of shot but was planning on going DP. if it is really possible to get this much out of a TNT i just might be intereasted in it. we need to do some more research.

Well i reconfirmed it today that its no problem getting this much horsepower out of thier power ring. 350 rwhp...which is about a 400 shot...

But safely...i dont know..

Personally I would invest the money in a direct port. It would be cheaper than the result if TNT is wrong.

Personally, I wouldn't feel safe spraying anything over 200 through that power-ring. I just don't see how all of that nitrous and fuel is going to find it's way into all 8 cylinders evenly.

Besides, an NX Direct Port Kit can be had for cheaper than a TNT F2 Kit.

Well Ive yet to hear about guys having distribution problems with 250 rwhp TNT setups that are done right. (big mike being one)

TNT basically put it like "With our foggers, no problem, with anyone elses your going to lose a piston/valve etc, our foggers work that good compared to everyone elses"

Give them a call..

UM..... if i spent 5K+ on a forged bottom end i think i could Pony up a bit more for a direct port kit... will it work? probably... the big question is how long? a full quarter pass is NOT a 3 second dyno pull!! i wouldn't trust it... i would be interested to see someone who has an engine dyno with pyro couplings in the primaries of hte headers to see just how much superior their Nozzles are.... sorry there is not THAT much technology in a nozzle.. EVERY mfg still has to deal with our intakes not being friendly to distribution to all 8 when introducing fuel and spray before the TB... just my .02...May the force be with whomever is using this setup...

damn thats a whole of of nitrous and fuel to go throught the intake, I wouldnt do it
just sell that kit and go DP

I am still alittle worried about spraying over a 200 shot with my NX single nossle
I already have the 250 shot jets I wonder if I should try the 250 shot on the dyno or not?

Yea I thought about the TNT F2 but was too worried about fuel puddling. Thats why I went with a DP setup. You can run bigger shots and its much safer.
