Nitrous LS1 levels
Im trying to figure out what modifications are required at different levels of spray on an LS1
From what I have read and experienced myself you can spray up to 150 for a while on the stock engine with colder plugs (TR6), a walbro 255, pulling fuel off the rail ( I got fuel from a T on the main feed line before it entered the rail) and pulling 2 degrees of timing for every 50hp shot.
My engine has some miles on it now and I would like to rebuild it to take some more nitrous safely.
So what do I need to be safe in the 200hp range?
What do i need to be safe in the 300hp range?
I searched for something like this but all I could find was information on spraying stock and straying 400 shots.

Spraying nitrous up to 200 is very common on a stock motor. Milage means almost nothing with plenty of guys having over 200,000 with no issues.
IF you were to rebuild you would only have reason if you wanted to up the power if you are looking more at the 200 range.

Use the BR7EF plugs! The reason for this is that the Tr6's have a protruded tip! The only reason people recommended the TR6's was because the BR7EF wasn't available whenever many people first started to use nitrous!

Thanks for the information guys.
It sounds like I should be safe in the 200-300 range with forged pistons and some ARP Rod Bolts.
Thanks for the info on the plugs as well.

I decided I'm just gunna throw in some compstar rods and wiseco pistons and call it a day. This way when I get greedy with the nitrous I won't toast the engine.
