Default mounting n2o bottle

does it matter if you mount it sideways in the trunk, or up and down in the spare tire well? Does it affect performance at all? (I'm asking this for a friend) I would think no since the bottle is pressurized nitrous oxide, and it's not really moving around much, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

A bootle should be laying on its side at an angle. Exit port down. The is a tube inside the bottle that goes to the bottom at an angle to allow the whole bottle to be used.

you want it mounted either straight with the valve facing the front of the car or sideways with the valve facing the drivers side of the car. The bottle itself should be mounted so that it's at a 15 degree angle (recommended)

There is a pickup tube inside. The primary concern is to make sure the pickup tube is down and to the rear so that under acceleration the pickup tube will remain submerged. You can take the bottle apart and reposition the tube as needed to accommodate how you mount the bottle.

I recommend the spare tire well.
