Not that I have seen. I did not even know they existed till today! Given the price of the FAST intake I would think they would price this about $650+. I am kinda interested in that TB. Never seen a swirled one before.

Nitrous Dave where are you?

Exclamation

As a matter of fact, yes I did!

Nineball posted pics of these products back in November, after he returned from the SEMA show.

I bet that intake will be priced more around $800-$1000. Its metal not composite like the LSX intake which means materials are gonna cost more.

its cheaper to cast an intake than injected composite.... either way the NOSzle would be cheaper in the long run would it not? i don't see a huge advantage over other designs? in fact more heat sink with the aluminum over composite as well as a good 5-10lbs....

85mm vs 78mm No advantage? People dynoing with a Linenfelter ALU intake have seen no heat soak issues that I know of.

The LSX 90mm of course would negate the argument but I think with heads/cam and a 85 MM intake with matching TB would be nice. Question is, if it has been around for a while how come they are not selling it?

Just got off the phone with NX, Neither is released yet but the jobber price on the throttle-body is $382, retail is $510. The standard discounts do not apply to the "speed" parts, so I'm not too sure what you should expect to pay.

Not to offend neone, but after the Bullshit with the NXL and still waiting "accumulator" I would wait for some other testing in the real world. You might just find out you run better with the old skool technology.

And yep, I had an NXL and noticed the "slight hesitation" right after install, and waited and waited and waited for a solution, only to find out it would cost me more-WTF?

Hey Guys,I have placed the order on these.I will have the throttle bodys this week. The intakes will still be a while. As for the NXL yes they should have waited a little longer on releasing it.But they gave in under pressure. It wont happen again. These have been in the making and testing for a while. Its the only one of its kind.Look for a post tommorow on how its made and pricing.
Thanks
Dave

Vinny,
No disrespect intended but that is not the correct pricing. Some one informed you wrong. The throttle body will sell for around 500.00 to 510.00.However the normal jobber pricing does not work the same as the nitrous parts.I have know ideal where they pulled that number for you.

Question

Will that throttle body be a direct bolt on, to a LS1, or LS6 intake, or is it exclusivley for the NX DP intake?

This is so typical of NX and it is just like the NXL BS just release a 85mm TB for $500 but not the intake and then want to SELL you an adapter to a 78mm intake for an additional $60 and tell you you will gain hp .
