Default newbie to spray

so im really thinking about spraying my car, its a stock ls1 with full exeuast and i just wanted to know how big of a shot i could run safely? and if i need to get a tune for it? and the kit will be a nx and i will have EVERYTHING that i need to run it safely and my car is an m6

I'm no expert but I've seen TONS of guys have up to a 200 shot on the stock longblock without a problem... assuming it was setup properly. My buddies say you have to retard the timing 2 degrees for every 50 shot (not entirely sure???). Also, if you get a dry kit, make sure you tune it to supply more fuel... don't want it to lean out, Very bad. Hope this helps a bit, I'm sure someone with more experience will come in and write a novel on what you need hah.
