Default fuel pumps. whats everybody running?

ok heres my build, 04 GTO 11.5:1 compression, 250hp nitrous 42# injectors, edelbrock vic jr intake, tb elbow, edelbrock fuel rails.

what should I run for a fuel pump? I was thinking twin walbros? maybe there is a better pump for my application? let me know what the best pump for me would be.

Holley blue,, But I am running a dedicated standalone low pressure system. I have seen the walbro setups in alot of cars though,, seem to work fine, I run a walbro in my tank for the engine, Never had any trouble with it. I have seen other systems, but the price starts getting up there pretty quick.

The Racetronix with a hotwire kit is what most use but you can go with pretty much any 255l pump out there. There is also the Aeromotive Stealth 340 which flows more than a 255l pump.

The walbro is a cheap pump that works. Mightymouse in the FI section has 3 walbro's in his tank and has 1200hp and has gone a best now of 8.50's.

I think Carter01 on here has one in his tank is is hitting a 300 shot off the fuel rail

Here is a link to New Era performance which is one of our sponsors for a Walbro 255 for $99 bucks

Im running a racetronix and hotwire kit on a 200 shot. Not sure if that would still support your bump in compression and larger shot, but I think it should.

Racetronix is the most popular/proven setup:
F99 Fuel Pump Assembly - Performance

Please read our technical description on why the F99 setup is required for proper fuel system operation.

Racetronix distributes standard Walbro pumps at some of the best prices out there.

These are all Walbro HP models which share the same internal parts with different inlet configurations: (We do not recommend the use of these pumps in a 99-02 module)

GSS294M - 255L/Hr Fuel Pump - High Pressure

Nasty Performance Stage 3 Street kit...
Dual In tank Pump..Pump setup Made By Lonnies Performance
can be set up to use both all the time, or use a single on motor, and the 2nd only when nitrous is armed
also easy to switch which is primary and which is secondary, so you can periodically switch main pumps with wiring to not wear one out before the other.

and he makes it so you can either send in your existing fuel bucket for modification, or you can buy the fuel bucket from him and he sends it to you complete(fuel buckets are not a cheap part by the way)

good up to over 1200 RWHP
