Default Too big of a stall for juice??

Well Im putting together my setup and Im hoping that I can run a 100 shot of juice on top of it..

My setup is
Patriot Stage 2 LS6 59cc Heads
G5X-3 Cam 114LSA
Yank Thruster Pro 4500
4.10 Gear..

So basically my question is, will I be able to shoot a 100 shot on this setup?

With the higher shift points with the G5X3 and the tightening of the 4.10 gear, should I be able to spray on this combo...

Im hoping for a "yes" answer

you can, but i doubt it runs very good on the bottle.

That converter is way to big to be running a N20 shot on the most I see anybody with LS1s running is a 4000 stall.

What i mean by not very good is, that setup isnt going to gain much on the bottle. Less gear or a taller tire will help and that converter will suck *** on the bottle. For example, my old vig 3600 (really 4400) shifted at 6800-7000 rpm would recover in the next gear at 6000-6200 rpms. Basicly i was over powering the converter and driving right thru it. I would stay with a tight 10 inch converter or a loose 11 inch for the bottle.

Spray it and find out. It won't be the best convertor, and you may end up driving through it like someone already mentioned. If I had a nitrous only LS1, biggest flash stall would be 37 or 3800. Nitrous works best in the lower rpm ranges. Your nitrous peak hp and peak tq are probably around 500rpms lower than your motor peaks.

Those issues aside, your still going to run quicker E.T.`s with the nitrous than without. And let`s face it, that`s really the whole point is it not? While I`m sure it has happened, I`ve never personally seen anyone run slower with on nitrous than N/A. Unless of course it was due to complete loss of traction. I don`t have the gearing or quite as big of a cam as he does, but I`m going to spray the pi$$ out of my TCI 4400! I probably just won`t activate it until it shifts into 2nd. And I`ll be VERY suprised if I go slower!

I think you're misreading what ta2slow posted.

You'd have to break something to run slower on the bottle, than off. If putting the wear of a 100 shot on your motor is worth .4 of a second, then go for it. All he was saying is the gains are going to be far from ideal if you try and spray a converter like that.

You have a good heads and cam combo but that converter will hurt you. Yea you will gain but not as much as a tighter convertor. How much no one knows intill you try.

That vig 3600 is like a 4400 or 4500 already with the flash stall...it may flash to 5000 or higher when you hit the juice. If your car has a stock motor and you're shifting a little over 6000rpms, that means you only have 1000 usable rpms going down the track. You would probably only cut a few tenths in the 1/4. I definitely would not spray with that convertor and 3.73s. If it was my car, I'd buy longtubes instead, and plan to keep the car running on motor.

FWIW I dropped 1.4 seconds and gained 14 mph spraying a 150 shot to my stock internal motor with that verter.

I'll be spraying 200 DP setup on my verter. I think the 3600 vig multi disc is going to do well on the bottle.
