Keeping bottle pressure
I have a bottle heater and jacket but really hard to sustain bottle pressure at or above 900 unless i just got the bottle filled and ive only hit a 125 dry shot 2-3 times. After a couple of uses and the nitrous becomes less in the bottle maybe 7-9lbs of nitrous its really difficult to bring up that pressure and sustain it. What else can i use on the bottle to keep the bottle pressure higher and more consistant.

Are u spraying your car during the winter still?
If u have a heater and jacket then it's just cold in the car, the bottle heater is not working right, or the gauge is bad..
I could hit my bottle heater and it'd shoot way past 900psi with ease and no jacket or nothin..

.
As said, something is a little off.
A bottle heater will bring any bottle to pressure if working properly.
Hell, most of the time if you turn your back it get's up to 1200-1300 damn quick if you don't have a regulator.
My heaters are too hot to touch, have you checked yours??
Good luck.

Im thinking it could be the type of bottle heater i have. Before it would get warmer but lately its not that hot. Its the one from Zex that you put into the cigarette lighter and has a on/off switch on it. I need to try it again today i dont remember but you can put your hand on it and not afraid to get burned at all but it does get warm but ill see how warm or hot it gets today again by touching it and see if its working properly.

You can warm your bottle in your home by using a tall bucket and boiling water, then wrap the bottle in towels to insulate.
Or you will just have to upgrade to a better bottle heater.
The cig lighter is too limited on current draw to support a good bottle heater.
They really need their own circuit with good battery connections, relay and circuit protection.
Heating elements are current hogs.

You need a good bottle heater that is wired in not some cig lighter powered unit. I never knew there was a cigarette lighter powered bottle heater. Guess you learn something new everyday.

1st, you don't use boiling water, you only need 90-100* water to heat soak a bottle.
212* water is asking for trouble, both on you & your bottle.
I use 95* in my water bath.
2nd, if you not hardcore racing, do as said, get a good heater and wrap the bottle up.
Either practice safety 1st when heating or get an auto shut off, and I still don't trust walking away!!
