Default Harris plate

Hey guys how do you like the HSW plate? I'm pieceing together a system for my 02 SS with an NX iceman kit and want to use the plate instead of the shark nozzle. Going for a 150 shot. Car is stock at the moment and will be doing EFI live tune and LTs, SLP lid, DRs and pray the stock diff hold up! Lemme know wut u think. Thx

No problems with mine. A lot of people don't like them bc you are limited to 150hp. I dont plan on running more than that so its perfect.

Do you want to sell me your Shark Nozzle? I don't feel like paying $62.74 + S/H to replace mine

Some of the plates are limited to 150, some aren't. There have been a few theads on this. I like my HSW plate just fine, but apparently from day one(or shortly after) I had a bad nitrous solenoid. The company seemed to go down hill as of late so support is gone it seems. Slap some good solenoids on there and let er eat

Thanks but I will hold onto the shark for now until i finalize my setup. I have the iceman solenoids from NX. They look a lot bigger than others I've seen. I wanna try 100 shot first then step up to the 150. After I become addicted to the juice I may use the shark nozzle! The initial plan was stock engine, 150 shot and LTs,ory, 4.10's, tune, sld lid and bellows, ftra, and a bias ply ET street type tire on a 15 inch rim and see what it does. Either it goes fast or I break the diff!

If you do not already have the plate and are looking at used ones, do your self a favor and look for a used Nitrous Outlet plate.

If you already have it you can make it work. Odds are you will end up needing a shorter fuel line than the nitrous line from the solenoids to the plates in order to compensate for the delayed fuel delivery in there plate design.

Its been a while since I looked at one of there systems but we seen the issue on our flow bench when testing there plate.

Also if you look at there systems they ship them with a shorter fuel hose than the nitrous. I would just duplicate what they send in there system.

Thanks I will take your advice. You seem to have great customer service and I will be sure to make any purchases I need through you. I work in the industry but with English and French ultra luxury/super cars and know that customer service is the most important aspect of our jobs. Thanks again.

The plate is light years ahead of the nozzle, end of story there.

I have used the Harris plate, in my experience it worked equal to my Nitrous Outlet Plate and the Dynotune plate I have used. This was at the 150hp level.

Ive gotten lean spikes, short ones with no damage or detonation, with all 3 plates. I've learned to run a shorter fuel line from solenoid to plate always works. 50% shorter usually.

If buying new, I highly prefer Nitrous Outlet's quality and customer service.

Good info here! I've been wondering how much shorter my fuel line should be.
