This would be nice to know... as I've got about 25 years worth of NOS jets collected in my toolbox. lol

If Dave is a good salesman, he will chime in here and say: "Nope, they won't work at all and will melt pistons... so you will need to buy new matched Nitrous Outlet jets from me."

I asked them the same question a couple of days ago and to run NOS jets you have to modify the plate. He told me it would be much easier to just purchase new jets.

guys thanks for your replys

yes offcourse it´s best to purchase new jets, they are not that expensive , but the reason for asking is i´m in Iceland there are no new jets to buy here, so i´t easyer for me to do some small mod to the plate if i have to, then to buy new jets in the US and have them shipped over sea the shipping is the most cost. But i would rather buy new jets then to use jets that would "NOT" be recomended by others N2o users and the Manufactor....

So the NOS jet can be used if i can have them fitt in?? that´s what i needed to know....

but if i do some mod to it will i then not be able to use the original type jets any more or will they keep on fitting,

Baezi

Baezi,

The NOS jets tend to have a longer, skinner stem Vs our short and fat stem. I know you can not fit our jets in a NOS jet fitting with out drilling the fitting out using a #10 drill bit.

I have never tried a NOS jet in one of our fittings. If the back side of the mushroom sits flush to the jet fitting it should work. Obviously the fitment will not be the best because the stem will be loose into the fitting. However the hose will seal up to the head of the jet the same.

Ill see if I have some NOS jets around the shop to check..

hi Dave

it seems to fitt well in, it´s a bit loose in the fitting but it looks as the 3an line seals it up

thanks

ok one other question

are there any hp diffrence between the two jet brands, NOS style vs others

been searching on the forum and it´s like people are talking about lower hp numbers on the NOS style jets.

i´ve been using .078 nitrous outlet jet whith my nitrous outlet plate 4an feeding line 12ft

and i´m getting 190-210rwhp out of it whith 35F jet on a 62psi fuel pressure from the cell.

so i was thinking of using these NOS jets i already have and i´m upgrading to a 6an feeding line and fittings

will i not be on around followed range whith them:

NOS jets
.085 250rwhp
.091 300rwhp
.098 350rwhp

can somebody verufy that

Baezi,
I honestly have not compared the two in a flow test.

I can tell you for the hp numbers you are looking for these are our suggested starting points at 60psi.

250- 88N -46F
300- 93N -48F
350- 99N -50F
