How much does an empty Nitrous Outlet 10lb bottle weigh?

Also, is it better to refill a bottle that is less than half full or empty the contents and fill from an empty bottle?

Empty bottle weight should be around 14.5 to 15.0 lbs. Depends on if you have a gauge or manifold attached to it. Maybe someone from Nitrous Outlet can verify this.

When i fill bottles, the Nitrous outlet bottle's weigh between 14lb10oz - 15lb2oz depending on the Accessories, sometimes as high as 15lb10oz with pressure switches etc.. That is with my fill line attached.. which adds about 3-5oz's roughly.. As far as filling it, it doesnt matter on the weight. I generally will blow off anything under 3lb's in the bottle, anything above that i will top it off.. Alot of shop's around my area dont have good pumps and they will top them off till there pump sounds like its gonna give up lol which leads them to not filling the bottle all the way..

I walked out and weighted a bottle for you. With valve no gauge was 14.1 LBS.

Thanks for all the input....and for actually weighing a bottle Neal. The only attachment is a gauge to the bottle. The bottle has just over 3.5 lbs of Nitrous so I guess it wouldn't make much difference if I empty it or not. Looks like it's going to be 40 bucks either way I go. I just hate to waste the good stuff know what I mean.
