Not to sure but chasing a idea!!!
Now Im not sure if this is the correct section as I already see a n2o on stock bottom end thread but I am wondering what anyone would expect out of a stock bottom end 4l60e 7.5 car? Ive built one before just to be sneeky and done pretty well but I was junk yard digging for parts and only buying things I couldnt find. Now I have alil more $$$$ in the bank and wondering how deep in the 9's I can get with that setup. Before I literally had one 9.999 at 138 at the HOH. Very sneaky sneaky but some things went south for me so I sold the parts off the car and never told anyone of how I done it. Car was a full weight (excluding back seats) no slicks but dr's on 17's with 15 skinnys up front. Anyone seen any 9.5's or lower done on stock bottom end, 4L60e and the stock 7.5? Hmmmmm wifes gonna kill me but its time to shine. Mainly because NO ONE expects it!!!

We had a full weight ws6 on a 175 shot and a 10 bolt that went 10.40's. the only weight reduction was skinnies on the front and the car came in at 3800lbs.

Our car came in at 3650, with more than 300. Like I said the motor didn't last long but did have head/cam/intake as far as engine concerned. Was a 10 bolt with some tricky tricky. Was a very built 4L60e.

Op i dont get you, what with all this trickey, trickey n sneaky sneaky crap, details would be nice, or are you just blowing smoke? Slips/vids etc, 10 bolt is a lil hard for me to believe ,imo that would go before a motor would, what did you do baby it off the line untill the 60mark and spray 2 stages lol

Actually was a one stage out the gate with a progressive at 100 ft. Only because shorter than that would have traction issues. No slicks but Mickey Thompson DR. I don't like to put this out there. That is why sneaky sneaky and tricky tricky. Just wondering if anyone else was doing such a thing. 60ft was 1.73 and trapped 143

Forget the 9 sec timeslip, just show 1 timeslip for any run. Every person I know that 1/4 miles knows you keep the awesome timeslip. Post up !!!!!!!!!!
That stock block BS is a misnomer too. The stock blocks are plenty strong. They have tighter wall clearances and as a result very little blowby/great compression characteristics compared to forged setups making them very good for power, but not very tolerant on lean/detonation conditions.
A lot of forged engines are built wrong and as a result a person would be better off with a stock block and ARP bolts.
