Default New Build..Nitrous LSX 95 Z28

Picking up a new (to me) car this weekend, Got from a semi local member on here. The car has an 8.50 cage from NRC Motorsports already, and Madman Rear suspension parts. Long term plan (next year) are 427 ci motor on nitrous, and a glide. I'm getting a s60 through one of the sponsors here. 35 spline axles, spool, 3.73 gears, and Strange pro drag brakes. Plans for the near future are just stock short block ls with a kit on it. Some pics I got of the car as it sits. I have a lot of work ahead of me. Luckily most of the hard work (tear down) has already been done so I just have to cut out/off whatever else i want to, and only add back the bare essentials! Would like to get the car down to around 2800lbs without me. Stay tuned for more updates!

looks like a nice build. just out of curiosity why not get a fab housing? would save a decent amount of weight.

The class that this car will be for is 3100 base weight for a nitrous LSX combo.. so I'm going to have to add weight to the car to even run, its not worth the extra cost.

small update.. Got ahold of a stock long block locally Looks like my spare parts will have a home for a little while, until I can drop the coin for a built motor. I have a set of TFS cnc 215's (58cc), some jesel shaft mount rockers and a nitrous cam laying around that i can have fun with in the mean time.
