Default Nitrous and stall

so we all know ideal rpm's for spraying is 3000 rpms. so if I have a 3200 stall converter this would let me spray off the line and still be safe right? I know I will blow my tires off but just in case I feel like it I wanna preserve my engine

there is nothing saying you have to spray at a certin rpm, we used to spray our street car on the street with a wot switch leaving off idle and matting it. have we poped an intake or two? yes and we learned to leave at 1000 not idle it leaves good lol

haha I was always told if h can afford it spray at 3000 just to be safe I seen ppl ruin motors spraying early and with low rpms comes low gear a lot of cars have been crashed out due to torque steer I'm trying to prevent that.

Q: When is the best time to use nitrous?
A: At wide open throttle only (unless a progressive controller is used). Due to the tremendous amount of increased torque, you will generally find best results, traction permitting, at early activation. Nitrous can be safely applied above 3,000 RPM under full throttle conditions.
^ From the Nitrous Sticky.

If you're not used to nitrous (and/or are just nervous) like I would be, I'd go with 3,000 to be safe. My plans include a 3600 stall and bolt-ons, I may add nitrous one day but just to gain a little extra, not going for anything big. I'm not quite sure how a 3600 stall will interact with nitrous as far as useable rpms but assuming I won't have traction leaving anyway I'd probably spray from 4000-6000, shift point at 6300 (by that time I would have a cam but not sure how high I would want to spin the motor)

With a 3200 stall I don't really see the point in spraying below 3000RPM. The main reason people say don't spray below 3k is because you'll put a heavy load on the engine and then shock it with all the extra torque nitrous makes. There's definitely higher chance of detonation.

Not to mention the smaller amount of airflow at low RPM's could cause a fuel puddling issue on a wet kit and uneven distribution to the cylinders.

My old C5 had a 5000 stall on the street and track. Never had a problem with the nitrous lol
