Default Need Help Please!!! What type of solenoid is this...

I am in the position to buy a used kit that my buddy took out of his import. For 100 bucks... Includes 15 bottle, 1 braided line for nitrous, Nitrous line for intake, fogger with 75shot pill, and an Arm switch.
He was running a dry 75 shot in his ride, and told me that he thinks this solenoid can be used as wet or dry.
I am not familiar with nitrous, so i ask you guys to please help. I have the kit in my possesion, but have not made deal. Told him if anything tomorrow i would pay or give it back.

Not a fan of those Zex box noids You can get new kits from Nitrous Outlet ot Nitrous Express thatll give you more room to grow Their entry level kits are 380ish New with detailed instructions If youve never had nitrous get a WET kit for EFI & your set For an LS get the Lingenfelter timing controller Have fun Youll have a permagrin lol

I think that is a dry ZEX unit that uses your stock fuel pressure regulator to trick it into spiking the fuel pressure when the nitrous hits so that it adds the proper amount of fuel.

Pretty sure if not 100% that's a dry only kit which will probably only do about a 125-150 shot max with the size solenoid that is actually inside that box.

That is a dry system box that was intended to be used on a Fox body stang or LT1 car. Basically it spikes the fuel pressure by pulling vacumme on the regulator.

You can block off the vacumme side and use it in conjuction with our halo bar and have a dry system.

100.00 Is not a bad deal as long as everything is in good shape.
