stock fuel pump vs walbro255
i just installed my NOs plate kit.getting the bottle filled today.i have a 40N and 24F which dynotune claims to be approx 70hp for my first spray.do you guys think the stock fuel pump will handle a 40N and 26F?that should be 100 shot. i also have a walbro on the shelf, but its gonna be a couple of weeks before i install that. also will a walbro handle a 150 shot?

The factory pump should handle that, However there are a couple of factors that could limit it. Such as what else has been done to the car (heads, cam?) As far as the sizes for the 100hp shot i doubt that will make a 100 hp because its not using any more nitrous just adding more fuel. So what it will probably do is make less than 70 hp because it will be to rich.

The 255 isnt worth the upgrade IMO, if you were going to stay h,c,i car id suggest going to the 255 but if you want anything over 475whp id look into an aeromotive 340
its what i use and my car only should be around 500-550whp and ive heard they work great up to about 625whp so i have a little room to grow with my nitrous shot or some heads and intake down the road. (im only cam nitrous 175 shot, ls1 heads, ls1 intake)

595 lift on a 112lsa. full bolt ons after that.so there would be no advatage to installing the walbro over my stock fuel pump?

just ordered the caspers hot wire kit.not bad for $35
just noticed that if i use the walbro 255 i will have to modify my pump bucket.the racetronix uses the factory venturi sysem so no bucket modification is necessary. are there any disadvantages to cutting a hole in the bucket? other than making sure the tank is always at least half full?
