Default Timing...Octane???

With a single NOS Fogger nozzle(wet) in the air inlet tube jetted for a 100 HP shot,do i still need to pull timing if i have enough octane to support it?
As in 2-5 gallons of race fuel in the tank...
Thanks
Dom

Talk to the tuner of the car. Ask how much timing the NA tune had and if he would feel comfortable spraying on top of it. Might not even need the race gas. Not that a little extra octane would hurt anything.

I personally wouldnt tune to where I need the mix. I would tune it where it was safe on whatever octane you run and splash a lil race gas just as a bit of a net if you would like too.

The plugs will still tell you where the timing needs to be.

what all is done to the car??? sometimes is possible on a stock car but depends on what you have done to your car. Plug change would still be necessary.

Get a set of BR7EF plugs, and pull 2-4 degrees just be safe.

You could put 116 in, but by the time you continually pay to use 116 you could of paid the 50 bucks to your tuner to take some timing out of it and run pump gas.

Or do both and run a real shot.
