Default Test hits Carb'ed 408

Broke 3 ribs a few weeks ago, so y buddy made some license runs last night at Cecil in my car.

Combo
408ci 4.030" x 4"
Mast LS3 Med Bore 6 bolt heads
Diamond Pistons
Race Proven Motorsports cam
L92/LS3 Victor Jr. w/ ProSystems 4150 Carb
GMPP Distributor cover w/ MSD 7531
Edelbrock Plate kit
NOS Launcher Progressive

Had to make the last 3 runs for license, first run was on nuts for a 10.13@138

2nd run on bottle, car spun on the hit, pedaled it, and went a 9.5X letting out before the 1000ft

3rd run we made some changes to the progressive. 8.731@145 letting off at the 1000ft. Racepak data showed it was hazing the tires through first gear. 1.396 60' 5.614@129 in the 1/8.

Pretty happy as the tune up was a "get the damn thing down the track" set up. Very conservative on timing, high nitrous fuel pressure, and only a 225hit.

Nice runs for sure, 129mph in the 1/8th shows a lot of promise especially with just an "A to B" tune-up in it.

Any video?

How much compression static and dynamic?

Im real happy with the 129mph. Especially considering there was barely a timing mark on the plug and the fuel was way fat.

No video, spent too much damn coin on getting this thing goin didnt get a camcorder yet.

As for compression.... Not enough

Good deal. Non eventful launches are always the fastest.

Without the racepak, there is no way it would be where its at. The data is EVERYTHING.

Didnt throw much more at it, got out about 30' and shook the tires. Short shift and it drove through it for a .40

Damn.

Where are you at on compression on the rear shock settings? Air pressure?

I know you know what you're doing just curious.
