want torque and hp numbers for cammed 6.0 and nitrous builds
im building a cammed 6.0 and was curious about who else has similar builds and what kind of torque and hp numbers you guys are making?
my build is a lq4 block 6.0(370) forged internals, -5cc pistons, 10 to 1 compression. 236/242 .598 .613 115, stage one ported 317s, 150 wet shot, th400 (4k stall), 4:10 10 bolt, stock intake and tb and maf (i will upgrade these soon), dual 255 intank fuel system.

370 +12 pistons zero decked block (near 11.9:1)
231/237 TSP grind LS3 cam
stock ls3 top end
4l60e with a 4K PTC right now, switching to a 300 with a nitrous converter soon
10 bolt
SD
It was built for a 300 hit but that will be a couple months out.
Both TSP and TMS both said 475Rwhp shouldn't be an issue to clear with my setup... I'm hoping for 48XRwhp... Anything below 465Rwhp will bum me out.

Stock lq4 bottom end
ported 243s
eps 226/234
edelbrock pro flo intake and tb
t56 and 4.10 gears
495/540 on a 100
549/616 on a 150
pulls were made on a mustang and from my understanding they read lower than dynojets. either way car rolls out.

I believe I might have been getting valve float on that latest 464 rwhp dyno pull.....I could have used a custom spec'd cam from pat G using different lobes for high rpm, and I believe the LS2 6.0 really likes cames in the .620 lift range with big converters and great heads

Its when the valve is opening and closing sooo fast that the valvesprings cannot close it and hold it shut in time for the compression to build up ...sometimes the valve can "bounce" on the seat as well
I had approx. 10,000 miles on these AFR red strip springs and tony mamo sold me some lightweight $500 valves when i first bought the heads from him.. i'm sure titanium might have been a better route.

There are a lot of reasons for valve float.
