Default Is these legal? (PIC)

I have been told it isn't street legal b/c it blocks the rearview. In Michigan I talk to the cop and he said the bottles arn't but the view isue is!

At the track is it legal? A guy said it wouldn't pass tec b/c the bottles are in a crush zone of the car! I will be pisst off if it is those brackets arn't cheap!

Nice! That looks more like somebody shoved a jungle gym in ur car instead of a cage! LOL very nice, and I believe they should be alright, just as long as they have all the proper safety equipment. JP

In Michigan the bottles are ok as far as obstructing you vision as long as you have the driver and passenger side rear view mirrors. That looks sweet as hell!!!!!!!!

The brackets are available from www.chassisshop.com (http://www.pro-werks.com/pr_1_030820.php).

In Michigan you can paint the rear window black if you want. Just like Shoulder Shaker said, just need to rearward facing mirrors.

As far as the bottles, I have not seen a specific rule in the general regulations for the NHRA that they are a problem. The best thing to do is call the Division 3 office of the NHRA and ask or call Jeff Ledford at Mid Michigan and ask him directly. I have no reason to believe that Mid Michigan would give you any difficulties with the bottles being mounted there. Good luck.

Here's an idea, stare at the arc of a tig welder for 5 minutes. Then go to a opthomologist and get a perscription for window tint. Instant get out of jail leave me alone card in Michigan. 5% In the back and 35% on the sides.

.
I have 5% all around and have only gotten pulled over once for it (almost 2 years now)

I personally think cars with obviously darker backs then sides looks dumb, and doing that is not going to save you from the ticket anyways ... to each his own tho.
