Default Ditch timing tumer and go with Microedge???

So I have not sprayed my new set up. I have the timing tuner hooked up right now but was thinking of switching it over to the HSW microedge. I have been trying to do some research on the Microedge and read somewhere that you can load 3 tunes into it. I really would like to to that if possible. I already have a MSD 2-step and window switch. Just looking for something to else to pull timing and I don't have HPTuners. I would like to load a NA tune, 150 shot tune and a 250 shot tune.

Can I get anyone with experiance with the HSW Microedge? Is it easy for my tuner to load multiple tunes on it?

Or what other suggestion do you all have?

Thanks

You wouldn't do a NA tune as the microedge probably wouldn't even be turned on until you are ready to spray, and I'm not sure if you can use it as a 150-250shot progressive controller but yes you can load multiple nitrous setups for it . I am setting mine up with two setups...one that won't spray in first gear for dead stop runs and one that sprays in every gear for roll racing.

It doesn't load tunes into your computer. The micro edge has settings that allows you to setup tunes for it. Things like gear lock out, window switches, progressive nitrous activation. Not things like timing, add or subtract fuel like hp tuners does.

Okay thanks guys!!!

Any single device that pulls just timing??? since I have all the other items already. I would like the timing to be pulled when I activate the nitrous not when the solenoid opens.

^^^ So you saying I am better off sell my other stuff and buying the Lingenfelter unit???

Does it show the timing being pulled on HPTuners when I activate my nitrous system? It does not have a built in window switch right?

I was just answering your question. You can wire the LNC to pull timing when the system is activated. This thread is confusing in your 1st post you say you don't have HPTuners?

I don't but my tuner is local and I usually have him tweet the tune from time to time. I just dont want to carry a laptop with me all the time.

Basically, he will do a baseline tune on motor. From there, every time you activate the system and ONLY when it is activated will there be timing pulled from the motor. You're not data logging are you?

I thought one of the benefits of the Timing Tuner is that it pulls timing. If you already have it, hook it up to do just that.

I have had my tuner come to the track before to do some data logging on my new motor. So I may have him come again when I spray it.

The timing tuner only pulls timing when the nitrous solenoid is activated and you can not see it on a scanner to make sure.
