Default nitrous on stock bottom end

Im looking to do a 75-150 shot on my lq9 but like in my other threads i dont know **** about doing it

my setup is a 6.0 lq9, ms4 all on a stock fuel system stock bottom end, with rod bolts, and stock 241's

Surprisingly my car has never leaned out and i bring it up to 6800 so my questions are can i run a 100 shot with this setup no problems or does there have to be changes?

Are you forgetting he's cammed? So thats drawing more fuel then stock.

I dont think there's any way you could run a 200 shot without upgrading the fuel system.... Im in the same situational as the OP.

The motor can handle it, just not the fuel system. IMO

The engine is defiantly tough enough to handle it but as stated before you will need to upgrade the fuel pump to spray a decent amount.

I would recommend going with a walboro255 and a Racetronix hot wire kit, that will defiantly give you enough fuel for what you are wanting to do.

Have you already decided on what setup you are wanting to run? If not fell free to give me a call and we can discuss you setup and get you a system that will work for you perfectly.

Your stock fuel system is good to about 450 wheel HP. As said above, the Racetronix pump and hotwire would be your best option and can support 650 wheel.

That LQ9 will take a beating. Just upgrade that fuel system as already mentioned above.

Goodluck!

I'm in the process of doing a forged 370 LQ9 from TMS (along with my 5.3 heads and a bigger cam) and would love to throw a 200-250 shot, but somehow I think the stock rear would hate me very quickly lol! You should do just fine OP

Lol yes exactly! I'm nervous about hitting it with a 100 shot on top of what I have with just the 555R's. I'll only hit it from a 2nd gear roll anyways, so i'm sure that won't be too bad...at least I hope lol
