Default nitrous converter

What's the pros and cons of a nitrous nitrous converter? I do motor passes as well, will it hurt my Times on my motor runs? Can you run a looser converter without it blowing thru?

a perfect converter for motor only will not work well with nitrous.

There isn't really a best of both worlds. If you're not gonna spray more than a 100 shot, I'd stay on a N/A converter. Not gonna pick you up as much as a nitrous converter does, but it is what it is.

ie- my buddies car has a N/A converter, 100 shot picks him up 4/10 in the 1/8, but any more juice and it blows thru

ie- my car has a nitrous converter, 100 shot picks me up 8/10 thru the 1/8...I've got tons more room I could spray where he can't

His car is faster on motor, but they run about the same on spray. Mine drives a whole lot better around town with the tighter converter though.

I'm spraying a 150 shot and I pick up 9/10 in the 1/8, mine is a ptc converter just for motor but I had it tightened up 150° and ran it, it was to tight, I then had them split the difference and that's where it's at now. Y'all answered my question and that was could I get the best of both worlds. Now I just wounded how close I can get to the best of both worlds, I may be their. What is your a/f on nitrous and timing?
